So heres the earth ..... Nah, not this time. Anyway, Alien Swarm is a post apocalyptic top down shooter, with a variety of weapons, gadgets, and other helpful items to survive while being mauled by aliens very reminiscent to parasites. There are 4 classes, with 2 Characters for each (2 Teams you can choose from according to storyline). Each character for the class excels in different traits, causing them to perform differently in battle. Commander, Special Weapons, Medic, and Tech. 1 Tech is Required for each mission, and a "perfect battle team" consists of one of each class. There is only one campaign out for it right now, although more are being developed. That said, the current campaign has a lot of replayability as it is. Every Weapon has its own unique "feel", and each class have a few weapons only they can use. Commanders can use a single barrel multi shot shot gun, Spec weapons get a machine gun + a minigun, Medics can use a healing gun/health kits, and finally the Tech can use a prototype ver. of the basic assault rifle. Alien Swarm is free on Steam so if you have a decent computer i would highly recommend it. (and it's free!!!!)
